Egyptian plover (spray paint on concrete, 2022)

A private commission on a concrete wall. The shape of the wall already looked like a crocodile's beak.

The Egyptian plover walks inside the mouth of a predator. It is a metaphor for life. The commissioner is an amateur photographer traveling to take pictures of wild animals. Be the crazy bird that walks into the open jaws of life.

My poetry book from that year was also titled The Egyptian Plover.
